Receptionist (Contract) 

Job Description

  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Take accurate messages when appropriate personnel are unavailable
  • Deal with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Maintain a professional reception areaambiance at all times
  • Co-ordinate and route in-coming and out-going mails and deliveries
  • Maintain and route magazines and publications
  • Organize pool cars, conference and meeting room bookings
  • Co-ordinate meetings and organize catering
  • Track inventory of office consumables and stationeries
  • General administrative and clerical support
Qualifications
  • Minimum Second Class Upper Degree or HND Upper Credit from a reputable University or Polytechnic
  • Prior experience as a receptionist will be an added advantage

Principal Investments Associate - Real Estate

Job Specification

  • Work with company management to define an appropriate real estate strategy in line with prevailing trends in the sector towards achieving desired corporate objectives
  • Actively seek real estate investment targets, and other potential opportunities in the sector towards executing agreed upon strategy
  • Drive the end-to-end appraisal of all potential real estate transactions, working with all parties as required (internal and external), to ensure alignment with investment objectives and to secure management and Board buy-in and approval as needed
  • Serve as primary custodian, working with all necessary parties (internal and external) to lead the end-to-end implementation of all real estate projects & initiatives under his/her control (asset appraisal, due diligence, legal close, team evaluation & selection, financial structuring, capital raising, construction oversight, marketing and sales, property management) in line with agreed upon investment objectives
  • Work closely with and report directly to the divisional head/hierarchy and the executive management team of CardinalStone on assigned projects and other strategic initiatives as assigned
  • Directly oversee the performance and development of analysts, interns and fellows working on divisional projects as required
  • Support other activities across the firm as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree from a top tier university. Degree in related field such as Real Estate Management, Quantity Surveying etc. or Post-Graduate degree is an added advantage
  • Membership of relevant professional body
  • 4-6 years working experience in the Lagos/Nigerian real estate industry; significant experience playing key roles as part of project team on identifiable commercial and/or residential real estate projects in Ikeja, VI, Ikoyi and Lekki axis of Lagos will be a significant plus

Internal Control

Job Specification

  • Formulate, direct and co-ordinate the delivery of excellent internal audit services in alignment with the Firm’s strategy and key objectives
  • Review the accuracy of financial records, promote operational efficiency and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Develop an internal control testing methodology
  • Examine procedures in existence to ensure that resources and assets of the Firm are safeguarded
  • Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures
  • Coordinate the review of accounting records to ensure proper records are maintained
  • Review of financial statements as appropriate and liaise on regular basis with external auditors
  • Ensure contract price and prices of purchased items are reasonable
Qualifications
  • Minimum Second Class Upper Degree from a reputable University in Finance/Accounting Economics/Business Administration or any related field.
  • Must hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA).
  • Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC relevant professional experience in accounting or audit related functions with a Capital Markets Operator or Financial Institution.

  • Execute trades on all floors of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
  • Obtain the best prices possible for clients at the time of dealing.
