The Role:

As Head of Marketing Strategy for our Consumer Bank National Expansion Agenda at Capital One, you will work to support our market expansion team in their journey to launch and build out markets via building marketing test & rollout strategies that build Capital One’s reputation as a new kind of bank. You’ll manage the strategy development and mobilize integrated marketing teams against the vision. You will lead and team with world-class professionals to develop sound solutions that impact all strategic areas of the business. And you'll do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards out-of-the-box creative thinking, failing fast, and speed to market.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage overall marketing objective setting, budgets and strategy development for our market expansion and build out agenda
  • Builds a test agenda to get to scalable and sustainable marketing rollout strategies
  • Influences how our location presence shows up in National Marketing programs such as onboarding, offer strategies, etc.
  • Building and leading a team of talented marketers and analysts against a bold agenda
  • Drives marketing KPIs and monitors progress against goals in order to pivot on strategies and find the leverage

The Hedging and Loan Sales Manager oversees the analytical functions associated with the management of the mortgage pipeline and loan sales. This position ensures that all held-for-sale mortgages are accurately hedged to ensure that the required target margin is achieved. The Hedging and Loan Sales Manager, develops and drives the completion of improvements to the overall precision, analytical depth and financial performance of the Secondary Marketing team, specifically hedging and loan sales activities.

This position manages a small team that must successfully balance daily, weekly and monthly hedging and loan sales responsibilities, as well as all project and enhancement work related to the hedging tool utilized by Secondary Marketing: Quantitative Risk Management’s Mortgage Banking Module (QRM MB). Coordination with mortgage operations is required to facilitate loans sales activities and to constantly improve loan sale efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Oversees daily operations related to calculating the daily hedged position 
- Monitor pipeline behavior vs. assumptions 
- Ensure that assumptions in Quantitative Risk Management accurately reflect the market 
- Analyze fallout and other pipeline related considerations 
- Manage timely loan sale transactions from trade date to settlement 
- Complete detailed analysis of loan sales results

This exciting and challenging role is a unique opportunity to become an expert in project planning using  Deltek Vision software, assist with a major strategic change initiative and travel between our 23 office locations around the world, meeting new people and developing new relationships at all level. You will champion the “BuroHappold Way” and will work closely with central and local change teams to ensure the success of the change programme. 
Part of a central team your objective will be to deliver the new EPM (Enterprise Project Management) software into our business units and support our project managers as they transition from existing manual systems. You will need to become a subject matter expert in both the software and how to manage projects successfully using the BuroHappold Way.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, resilient and with a positive mind-set to help us deliver a revolutionary change to the business.
Whilst prior experience and qualifications relating to the Deltek systems are desirable, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate and there is an opportunity to grow in this role.  Projects Office and Systems is a small team that interacts with a wide range of people from all levels within the Business so the right personality is as important, if not more so than previous experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and configuration of the EPM software
  • Understand the individual needs and challenges being faced by each Business Unit
  • Work with the central team to identify, document, articulate and monitor business rules required to support the planning process
  • Work with the central team to implement and refine transition processes and tools
